What is a copywriter?
A copywriter is a professional writer who packages words into powerful content that will engage, persuade, sell or entertain. I am a copywriter whose words will take your business to the next level.
Why shouldn’t I write my own copy?
Everyone can sing, but not everyone is a pop star. The same goes with writing. It’s more profitable for you to spend the time working on your business and hire me to create mind blowing content for it.
When can you start?
I generally take bookings one to two weeks in advance of when they are scheduled to be done. Once I have confirmed the date your project is to start, believe you me, it will start on that date!
How soon can I have my writing?
That depends on how much copy you have booked me to write. A blog article is written and delivered on the same day, while a rewriting of a website may take a week to ten days.
How much does a copywriter cost?
I keep my rates affordable because I am aiming at helping small businesses. You can find out my specific rates on my Rates page.
Do you do SEO copywriting?
Yes, I sure do. SEO copywriting is all about finding out which keywords people are using to search for a business like yours. Using Google’s Keyword Planner, I spend some time researching which keywords I need to use for a specific web page. I then cleverly intertwine these and other words which mean the same into your copy, significantly improving your chances of ranking higher in search engine results.
What happens if I don’t like your writing?
I am certain you will love it, but part of my fee does include two revisions of the copy which I created for you should it require tweaking.
What sort of copywriting do you specialise in?
By far, the type of copy I create the most of its website content and blog articles. I really enjoy the challenge of putting my words to the test of search engines to make my client’s websites highly visible online.
What topics do you write about?
Gosh, what haven’t I written about! I have never trained as a surveyor, yet can quite happily write about surveying techniques and equipment. I don’t have any daughters, yet know an awfully large amount about tutus and their origins. I have certainly never been a digital technology technician, but hey, I know an awful lot about them.
My point being, I don’t need to have had the experience in your industry in order to successfully create engaging, informative and professional copy about it. As a skilled researcher, I know where to look to find out what I want to learn about and the writing skills to put it into words for you. All my rates include my researching time.
Do you require recognition for or own the copyright of your work?
No, I don’t. Once you have paid in full, the work which I have written belongs totally to you.
Can I see some examples of your work?
Yes, you sure can. Because the majority of my work is published by my clients online, I do not have their work live here on my site. That’s because Google would penalise both of us for having duplicate content. I also ghost write for many clients and completely respect their privacy, by not disclosing that publically that it was I who wrote their copy. I am more than happy to provide you with links to published work upon request from clients who have allowed me to do so though.
Where are you?
I live about 20 minutes’ drive from New Plymouth, the main city within the Taranaki region. New Plymouth is located on the west coast of the North Island of New Zealand, around half way between Wellington and Auckland.
I don’t live in New Zealand. Can I still hire you?
You sure can! I have worked for clients all around the world and have only ‘met’ them via email, phone or on social media.
